Pmise CF-01

Ultrapulse CO2 fractional laser, 10600nm

CF-01 is our flagship resurfacing platform: an RF-excited CO2 laser at 10600nm with continuous, ultrapulse and fractional modes in one console. It is the machine clinics buy when scar revision and skin resurfacing need to be a serious, bookable service rather than an occasional add-on.

Pulse energy spans 2 to 200mJ with spot densities from 6x6 to 24x24 spots per cm², so the same platform covers gentle rejuvenation and aggressive scar work. Delivery is through a 7-joint articulated arm with six scan shapes.

How it works

At 10600nm the chromophore is water, and skin is mostly water. The beam is absorbed within the first tens of micrometres, vaporising tissue precisely where it lands. Fractional mode splits that energy into a grid of microscopic columns, leaving bridges of untouched skin between them; those bridges are why fractional wounds close in days rather than weeks.

The columns do two things at once. They clear damaged surface tissue, and their thermal zones trigger a wound-healing response that remodels collagen over the following months. That is the whole mechanism behind CO2 resurfacing: controlled micro-injury, then organised repair. Pulse width here runs from 0.067 to 0.67ms, short enough to ablate cleanly and keep bulk heating of surrounding tissue low.

Applications

  • Atrophic and rolling acne scars, surgical and traumatic scars
  • Full-field and fractional skin resurfacing for texture, tone and fine lines
  • Skin rejuvenation programs paired with a conservative density ladder
  • Benign epidermal lesions under medical supervision

Key advantages

  • RF-excited CO2 source from COHERENT with CW, ultrapulse and fractional pulse group modes
  • Pulse energy 2-200mJ and four spot densities, from gentle to aggressive on one platform
  • Sequential or randomized scanning to spread thermal load across the treatment field
  • Six scan shapes (triangle, square, rectangle, rhombus, round, line) that fit real anatomy
  • 7-joint articulated arm for precise, fatigue-free handpiece positioning
  • Air cooling only, no water loop to service

Frequently asked questions

How much downtime should clients expect?

It depends entirely on density and energy. Light fractional passes may mean two to three days of redness; aggressive scar work can mean a week or more of visible recovery. We advise clinics to publish a downtime ladder by protocol and book clients accordingly, starting conservative on every new client.

Can darker skin types be treated?

Cautiously, and many clinics simply do not offer ablative CO2 to Fitzpatrick V-VI clients because post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation risk rises steeply. Where it is offered, densities and energies drop sharply and test spots are mandatory. Our note on Fitzpatrick skin typing covers the reasoning.

What training is required?

CO2 is the most operator-dependent platform we sell. Every CF-01 ships with a full English manual, and our team provides remote clinical training on parameters, pass technique and aftercare. We will not ship to a buyer who cannot name a trained operator.

What does maintenance involve?

The RF-excited tube needs no water loop and no routine gas handling, which is why we chose this architecture. Day to day, maintenance is optics cleaning and calibration checks; the factory supports everything beyond that for the life of the machine.
